| Subjects: | Solar lighting in Africa SolarAid is an international charity, founded in 2006, working to provide access to affordable solar lights in remote rural communities in Africa. It is their mission to eradicate the kerosene lamp from the continent by creating markets for sustainable solar lighting. It is supported by well known people such as Richard Branson. SolarAid is registered with The Charity Commission and the Fundraising Regulator. The presentation will illustrate the problem and present SolarAid's solution. I am a volunteer speaker for the charity. A voluntary donation by the booking organisation is always welcome. |
