The Road from Kathmandu to Bali Overland by bus, train, rickshaw and taxi through Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. Jungle trekking, massage parlors, idyllic beaches and uninvited guests. --------------------------- 3. Australia and New Zealand by Thumb Travel and work in Australia and New Zealand. Three days on the Indian Pacific Railway. From an office to a desert. From the top of Ayers Rock to the base of a glacier. --------------------------- 4. The Pacific Islands and a US Greyhound Our goal was Fiji but we visited several of the beautiful Pacific Islands with their white beaches and Fale houses. We completed the trip by Greyhound bus taking the southern route across the US to New York. --------------------------- 5. Inca Trail Mum in Peru From Lima the capital of Peru to sand boarding in Huacachina and the 45 kilometre, three day trek along the Inca Trail to the legendary city of Machu Pichu. --------------------------- 6. Fall in Argentina and Chile Horse riding, hiking and cruising through the beautiful colours of autumn. Volcanoes, seals, and glaciers. From the most southerly town in the world to Buenos Aires and the Tango.  |
