The title of John's talk refers to his childhood acting opportunity when Enid Blyton chose him to play 'Noddy' in her west end musical... he trained at Italia Conti Stage School and between the age of ten to sixteen appeared in over 400 TV productions, including 12 plays and 3 films... he took up production management and spent six years with Morecambe and Wise production staff then produced and travelled with Billy Fury for 18 months before starting his television career which has lasted for over 35 years producing directing and writing shows... he has produced and written concert shows from Marti Caine to Michel le Grand and has held television executive positions from assistant head of light entertainment at Granada to Talent Co-ordinator of London Weekend television... more recently he created the Michael Elliot Trust with Dame Judi Dench and June Brown MBE and for twenty five years they rescued over 600 neglected and abandoned donkeys to work with children with special needs finishing up with private audiences in Buckingham palace as they looked after her majesty's donkeys.
