Subjects:1) Richard III: monster or martyr?

Was Richard III the Shakespearean monster or a just and pious man whose reputation has been destroyed and slandered for centuries? Did he really kill the so-called Princes in the Tower or did they survive and die as young men at the hand of Henry Tudor? Who were Lambert Simnel and Perkin Warbeck? Were they impostors or Edward V and Richard Shrewsbury, Richard's nephews? Why do so many people still fight to rehabilitate a king who was betrayed in battle after just two years on the throne? These and many other questions will be answered during this talk.

2) Richard of Eastwell: a secret son of Richard III?

Was Richard of Eastwell a secret son of King Richard III? Was the mysterious bricklayer an illegitimate royal offspring? Did he actually exist? This and much more will be discussed in the talk.

3) A Mayor of York: William Snawsell and his friendship with Richard III

Who was William Snawsell? The most famous tenant of Barley Hall in York, mayor and goldsmith, will tell us his story and why he was so close to Richard III and the Nevilles of Middleham.
